Had an epic time feasting on delicious Mediterranean dishes! The room was impeccably clean, and we even had a lovely view of the Main River.

The family running the hotel provides excellent service, treating guests like they're part of the family.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is permanently closed, which was disappointing since I had booked specifically for dining options.

fantastic access to parks and river for weekend explorations

I enjoyed a cozy stay with a spacious, clean room that made it easy to recharge after a long day of exploring local parks and monuments. It was just a lovely 10-minute walk by the river to the train station which took me right into the heart of Frankfurt for sightseeing.

I had a lovely time enjoying the delicious breakfast and cozy bed during my stay, which made it so easy to relax after my travels. I loved spending some quiet time in the garden and chilling in the lounge area. One small hiccup was a bit of noise from other guests at night, but it didn’t ruin my experience. 😊

It was just a fine choice for a flying visit in Kelsterbach with very good value for money. The hot water and pressure in the shower were excellent, making my stay comfortable despite a few minor issues. Note that bringing large suitcases up the steep staircase can be tricky, so pack light.

The Gruenen Baum Hotel offers a charming experience with a delightful restaurant serving fantastic Greek food. I loved the lovely decor throughout the rooms. The location by the Main River is stunning, especially with the footpath lined with flowers. The family running the hotel treats you like their own, making you feel at home. I appreciated the comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning in the Standard Double Room. However, there were a few annoyances. I encountered some noise from the cleaning crew in the early morning, which was disruptive. Bringing my suitcase up the steep, narrow staircase was a bit of a challenge. Additionally, the shower holder was broken, making things a bit inconvenient when showering. Nonetheless, the hot water and pressure were excellent, which made up for some discomfort. I enjoyed my stay, especially for an overnight layover, but those minor issues could be improved.

We really appreciated the helpful tours organized by the hotel, making it easy to explore the area. The family atmosphere made traveling with our newborn comfortable and stress-free. The cozy rooms were perfect for our larger family, allowing us to recharge after our adventures.

For dads, it would be great if there were more ergonomic baby facilities.

The staff was incredibly friendly, even helped me carry my bags to my room which was really appreciated after a long day of travel. I loved waking up to the smell of a European breakfast with a good selection of cereals, breads, and cheese—it was much better than the usual what you get at those chain places.

It wasn't the cheapest option around but it was still decent for the experience we had.

Loved the charming terrace and unique local vibe! The room was spacious enough for four and super comfortable.

Staying at this hotel with my family, which includes two energetic teenagers, was a delight! We particularly enjoyed the charming garden area that provided a perfect spot for family downtime. The tour desk was super helpful, suggesting local attractions that kept us all entertained.

My kids wished there were more engaging activities for teens.
